In these chains that confine,
If I move the grip goes tight.
Deep in my skin they seem to bind,
Sufficate me well into the night.
Keys do no good here,
They are in vain.
These chains are secret,
And cannot be slain.
Broken glass on the floor,
Reflects all you've done before.
Emptiness begins to take and take,
Untill you start to shake.
They turn away with a grin,
Without seeing the kind of pain i'm in.
Its sad to say you know the truth,
Yet its hard without some proof.
Take one last breath, these chains are tight.
Let the stars shine, for one last night.
Let it be known you broke the heart,
That looked upon you without a flaw.
Yet it was thrown away, without a care,
You do so well to leave it there.
